If you want to know Jesus better, begin with Him in the Scriptures. This simple seven-day guide is not meant to replace careful Bible study. It is simply a place to start.
Day 1 — Come and See
Read John 1:35–51. Notice how people are invited to come to Jesus, listen to Him, and see for themselves who He is.
Day 2 — Jesus and the New Birth
Read John 3:1–21. Pay attention to what Jesus tells Nicodemus about being born again and why the Son of God came into the world.
Day 3 — Living Water
Read John 4:1–42. Watch the conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman. What does Jesus reveal about Himself, worship, and the kind of life He offers?
Day 4 — Bread of Life
Read John 6:22–40. Consider what people were seeking from Jesus and what He wanted them to understand about Him.
Day 5 — The Good Shepherd
Read John 10:1–18. Notice what Jesus says about knowing His sheep, leading them, and laying down His life for them.
Day 6 — The Resurrection and the Life
Read John 11:17–44. Martha was grieving, but Jesus directed her attention to who He is. Think carefully about His words in verses 25–26.
Day 7 — The Cross and the Empty Tomb
Read John 19:16–30 and John 20:1–31. Do not rush through these chapters. Consider why Jesus died, the evidence presented for His resurrection, and John’s stated purpose for recording these things (John 20:30–31).
