About We Wish to See Jesus

We Wish to See Jesus exists to provide clear, faithful, and practical Bible teaching for those who want to know Christ and understand His Word more deeply. The resources on this site include Bible lessons, sermon material, articles, and reading plans that are intended to be useful for personal study, teaching, and spiritual growth.

About Ian

My name is Ian Rice. I have been preaching full-time since 2010 and currently serve as a preacher and elder with the East Hill Church of Christ in Pensacola, Florida. I also teach Bible and develop Bible curriculum for Fortress Christian School. Much of the material shared here grows out of my own preaching, teaching, and study of Scripture.

The goal with this site is to make useful Bible resources available to others and to encourage careful study of God’s Word. The name comes from the request in John 12:21: “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” That remains the purpose behind the work here.

I live near Pensacola with my wife, Keri, and our two youngest daughters, Emma and Julia. Our oldest daughter, Olivia, is married to Jesse Davis, and they live in Alabama.
